HOW IT STARTED
It started at a party.
Friends and I were having an open conversation about relationships, the kind of conversation that usually stays on the surface. But that night, something shifted.
As people opened up about situations they were navigating, I found myself naturally dissecting what was being said versus what was actually meant. When I shared what I would do in the same situation, the room got quiet. People leaned in. Then came the next story. And the next.
What I realized that night, I've now spent 20+ years confirming:
"I have the gift of reading the heart of the matter, in families, in romance, in business, in any space where two or more people are trying to understand each other."
I ask a few honest questions. I listen for what's said and what's underneath it. Then I help people communicate what they actually want, in a way the other person can actually receive.
That's the work. That's the gift. And that's why I built Black Made Media.
